I have decided to start a new blog in hopes to share my experiences and gain new insight into my career as a ballet teacher. I don’t know yet where I will begin but I’ll figure it out. As my profile description states, I am a ballet teacher. I teach in my privately owned studio in a city called Buena Vista, Virginia. Buena Vista, Va…I chose the theme, A Strange Little Town, because that’s what it is .. a strange little town. My studio is located in this strange little town and has been for 6 of its almost 15 years. But let me say, the past six years has been the best for my little studio out of its nearly 15 year history! So, strange it is but amazing still yet.

I do enjoy this strange little place. I have called Buena Vista my current city for 17 years now and Rockbridge County for more than 20 years after relocating from my precious Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We won’t get into why I’m here or how I got here … long story short, I came here and I stayed here. A lot has happened in my dance world here. A lot. And that’s where I’ll end this post. I may choose to edit this post later but it was a good starting point for me …
